Much like yoga, reiki has played an important role in my personal healing journey as well as my client's. I have seen the extraordinary benefits of this technique when used as a complimentary therapy in effort to reduce stress, insomnia, inflammation, depression/anxiety and many other commonly/uncommonly suffered ailments. Reiki can help identify the root cause of our ailments and act as a tool for communication between the physical & emotional bodies.
Reiki is an ancient form of healing where the therapist works with the patient's life force channel of energy via therapeutic touch to activate the natural healing processes of the body and restore physical and emotional well-being. Amanda Keeley of Reiki Yoga Wellness, completed her 200 hour hatha yoga teacher training at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Val Morin, QC in 2013 and since then has gone on to teach over 1200+ hours. Amanda offers Aroma-Yoga & Traditional Hatha classes as part of her weekly teaching residency at Subramanya. Like yoga and many alternative modalities, essential oils have been used for thousands of years to heal and balance the mind-body connection. The use of organic, therapeutic grade essential oils combined with hatha yoga or any holistic approach and incorporating them into our daily regime offers wonderful health benefits and ways to increase and enhance our practice as well as our overall health and wellbeing. Each class closes with a sound healing meditation using pure crystal and Tibetan singing bowls.
Hello, my name is Amanda Keeley and I am the owner of Reiki Yoga Wellness in Brockville, ON. Passionate about educating and sharing in all things health & wellness, I have been researching and implementing the positive benefits of alternative medicine and holistic healing for over 15 years. I am a Certified Yoga & Infant Massage Instructor, Reiki Master/Teacher. I am also an event coordinator for wellness retreats and lead weekly group meditations, incorporating silent meditation along with sound healing using pure, quartz crystal and Tibetan singing bowls.
